Everyone feels envy at work. It's a universal and natural emotion. Yet because envy is misunderstood and stigmatized as a character flaw or even a deadly sin, most of us hide it, deny it, or let it fester in silence. But buried envy can do damage, quietly shaping our decisions, our relationships, and our careers.
In this virtual event, Dr. Stacy Kim (GR'00) draws on her personal experience in Korea, where social comparisons and envy are openly discussed; her work with clients; and her research for her forthcoming book, Envy: Why Wanting What They Have is the Key to Getting What You Want. She will share the evidence-based tools and strategies to help you understand envy and use it to build the career and life you want.
